The Building & HVAC-R line offers solutions for residential environments such as hotels, schools, hospitals, for machinery and engine rooms, and for large industrial environments such as gas storage depots and refrigeration plants.
The gas detectors in this line are designed to the same safety standards used in industrial environments.
This range of gas detectors guarantees professional detection for gases with a high GWP (Global Warming Potential) and follows the standards of the F-gas directive. These instruments detect flammable gases, ammonia, carbon dioxide (CO2) and generally all halogenated gases.
PRODUCTS
Gas detectors series SMART3 NC have been designed to offer cost effective products with Hi-Tech professional features for car parks and non-classified areas.
Available for Methane, LPG, Petrol Vapours, CO, NO2 and CO2, these detectors employ a professional catalytic sensor for flammable gas detection, an electrochemical cell for CO and an infrared sensor for the CO2 detection.
The SMART3 NC provide an analog 4-20 mA output signal and can be implemented with additional features to allow the instrument to have an RS485 communication or three-relay output.
SMART3 NC gas detectors are rated to IP55.

Refrigeration
Line
In consideration of the F-Gas directive and with the aim of a professional detection of gases with high GWP, especially SF6, Sensitron has developed an innovative range of products for the detection of Flammable gases, Ammonia, Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and in general all the Halogenates gases, in compliance with the EN 378-3 and ISO 5149-3, EN50676 EN 14624 e IEC 60335-2-40 Annex.
Depending on the ESR (electrical Safety Requirements, that means IP and zone classification) this range is the best available for Hotel rooms (CO2 or R-gases) Machinery rooms (Ammonia in LFL or ppm, Propane, CO2, etc.) as well as for installations in Hazardous areas.There are 3 main applications for refrigerant gas detection:
- Detection on machinery and in machinery rooms: detector systems are generally required to check for refrigerant leaks in rooms housing central refrigeration units, freezers, cold stores, etc.
- Detection in large industrial environments: conditioning and refrigeration plant production and test floors, gas storage depots, refrigeration plants, gas distribution lines, refrigerant circuit loading areas, test areas/rooms, etc.
- Detection and protection in residential environments: hotels, offices, schools, hospitals, etc.
Designed for machinery rooms, laboratories and non-classified areas
The SMART3-R have been designed for non classified areas and are ideal for the detection of flammable, toxic and refrigerant gasses in non hazardous environments.
The detectors provide analog 4-20 mA, digital RS485 transmissions and 3-relay outputs.
A multi-colour LED light ring offers a visual indication of the detector' status while an internal buzzer activates to warn of any fault or alarm condition.
SMART3-R are rated to IP42 and feature one-man calibration via the STS/CKD series calibration keypad.
On request, SMART3-R can be supplied with remote sensor head. The detector will be supplied with 5m 6-core cable.

Gas detectors for A1 and A2L refrigerant gases for buildings & hotel room
Designed to meet with cost effective requirements, SMART3-H-L allow to monitor A1 and A2L refrigerant gasses in hotel and building applications.
